Hi Everyone!
Statement Pieces are those wardrobe gems that everyone needs in their wardrobe! They are those eye-catching essentials. That completely transforms your entire look, gives it that standout touch, and makes your outfit more you! Statement pieces make getting dressed VERY easy. You can literally throw on the simplest outfit. And add a statement piece to it and that simple outfit, will not look so simple anymore! It’s the first thing that is noticed about your outfit. And the main thing that gives your outfit personality.
So once you get your wardrobe essentials under control, it’s definitely time to think about the type of statement pieces you want to add to your wardrobe. Therefore, I listed up to 11 pieces that will enhance every woman’s wardrobe:
Statement Blazer
Statement blazers are the special ones. The ones with texture, color, pattern, print, and shape are anything but basic, and anything but boring. You’ll know a statement blazer when you see one because you won’t be able to think about anything else until it’s yours…
Statement Dress
A tasteful dress in an interesting color, such as a muted turquoise or deep red, is a good addition to your interview wardrobe. With a statement dress like the ones here, you don’t need to bother to add jewelry or other accessories—the dress speaks for itself.
Statement Clutch
It’s made from suede but almost entirely covered in metal embellishments. Beautiful beading with a corded edge & long chain strap which could be worn across the body or removed altogether. Although if your style is less fussy & more classic, there’s no reason why your statement handbag can’t be too.
Statement Accessories
The statement piece is the thing people notice first about your outfit. It is most commonly an accessory, such as a necklace, earrings, or bag. However, it can also be a wardrobe item, like a pair of heels or a skirt. We all know we’re not supposed to judge people by their appearance but it still happens.
Statement bottom
The statement piece is the thing people notice first about your outfit. It is most commonly an accessory, such as a necklace, earrings, or bag. However, it can also be a wardrobe item, like a pair of heels or a skirt. We all know we’re not supposed to judge people by their appearance but it still happens
Statement blouse
Take the statement-sleeve trend, for instance: A relative of the never-ending off-the-shoulder craze, it plays up blouses by adding embellishments to sleeves (think ruffles, contrasting fabric) or playing with their shape (by adding volume, cut-outs, or extra length)
Statement Shoes
If you love fashion, you’ll love statement shoes. A look can be finished with them, they provide comfort and they make a strong statement. There are so many types of shoes that fall under the category of statement shoes. They can also be called statement accessories because they’re not just shoes…
Statement Vest
Statement vests are also fun to wear like a top! Since they’re longer designs, you can pin the vest closed and wear it like a shirt
Statement handbag
It’s made from suede but almost entirely covered in metal embellishments. Beautiful beading with a corded edge & long chain strap which could be worn across the body or removed altogether. Although if your style is less fussy & more classic, there’s no reason why your statement handbag can’t be too.
Statement Sunglasses
With a host of personality-packed sunnies to choose from, here are the styles we’re eyeing up this season (yep, I went there…)
So what statement pieces do you currently own? And I’m also curious to know after this post. Also, what statement pieces do you want to own? I hope you took away something from this post. Because that is always my mission here!
