Hi everyone,
Summer is all about eating, drinking, seeing, doing, and getting out in the world. And, although there isn’t anywhere to go at the moment because of the coronavirus pandemic, there are still plenty of things for you to eat, drink, see, and do. They just look a little different right now. So until you can sidle up to the bar, check out a new restaurant, board a plane, go dancing, catch a movie, see a concert or simply hug a friend, check out my top 10 lists of things to do this summer:
- Restock your bar (Self-care first: I am thinking steamy date night once the kids hit the bed :-));
- Backyard BBQ pool party with the family (I’ve been trying to set up the pools but I have to find a temporary home for Aby’s cat);
- Turn your slide into a water slide by placing a hose at the top and a baby pool at the bottom;
- Water activities (Make water bombs out of sponges, water guns etc…);
- Create your own backyard splash pad;
- Virtual drinking game party (mommy time again);
- Virtual video game;
- Movie night (with family or just with your partner)
- Art & Craft (keep those kids busy)
- Cooking & baking with the kids (teach them young)
- Create a family tree
- Watch the sunrise (I am an eternal romantic :-))

Unfortunately, Audrick (the other twin) was not in the mood to have his picture taken… But I kinda like this one 🙂
Like everyone fortunate enough to be able to self-isolate or quarantine until it’s solidly safe to socialize once again, I’ve been thinking a lot about how to keep the kids entertained and make the best of our present situation, do more with less, and “stay safe and sane,” So what are your plans for this summer? Comment below and let me know.
Thanks for stopping by.

Your son is adorable, lol! YOu and the girls look gorgeous in your dresses! We do like to do water related play when it is hot here. We've been going to the pool a lot and I really need to plan a date with the hubby now.

lol Mireille. He was not in the mood for pictures. He is usually more into photos than his twin sister ;-). Pool is a good idea but taking time to relax and date is way better ;-). Xo,

Aww you are all darling in your matching floral dresses! But Audrick's pic takes the cake I think–he is having NONE of it. I love these ideas and the mix of fun for kids plus fun for moms (hello, restock the bar!).
Moumous says
He's a challenge – just like his dad – always a fight to put him in front of a camera lmao.

What pretty girls you have! I love their matching dresses. I know the angry/sad ook for twin brother–my grandchildren give me that face sometimes when they are just not in the mood for photos or cooperation.
My grandchildren keep us busy when they visit and we try to have a lot of the things you suggested in our plans. Re-stocking the bar also sounds like a great idea–Costco is selling strawberry margarita cordial at a good price 😉

Strawberry margarita 🙂 that's all I can think of now :-). Another drink to add in the bar :-).
