Happy Hump Day! Lately, I have been wearing a lot of blacks. I don’t know why. I don’t really care for black and it doesn’t belong to my Color Palette. A client of mine actually asked what was happening to me and I quickly found an explanation: Black is going to be trending for Spring/Summer 2022. I also added that I think it went with some emotions I was processing during the end of December / beginning of January.
At the time, I was referring to something else but it came to my mind later that the true reason I am wearing this color: I am currently time-traveled to the past for the past couple of months and it brought up so many memories: good and bad. It was also a time when I used to wear black every day all day (teenage time). It is definitely not the right post for this, so let’s move on. I just wanted to make a point as some of you (mostly closed ones) noticed.
We are back with our ChicWish review featuring that top. How sexy and elegant? Although I went for the color black, the draping and the picking out shoulder make it very feminine and romantic. I did pair it with a ChicWish skirt that I will be featuring soon on the blog but for today: Another all-black look for the win 🙂 but thank God we are slowly but surely moving towards Valentine’s Day and brighter colors. With that said, ChicWish definitely has some great pieces for the occasion. Currently coveting: here, here, here, and here.
As Valentine’s Day will be on a Monday, I thought of doing a selection of a few work outfit ideas to wear for the occasion :
So what will you be wearing on Valentine’s Day or the weekend before for Galentine’s Day? Whatever you decide, just keep in mind you can be feminine, sexy, and elegant in any color whether it is the traditional red and pink or white, nude or even black.
