Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday! How have you been doing?I hope you are home and healthy. On my side, I have been using the good side of quarantining to my advantage and work on a project that I have been contemplating for a while now: my YouTube channel. I think it’s time for me to make some sort of an “official” announcement so that I stop making excuses and put myself out there. I don’t know how it’s going to turn out between blogging and vlogging when things are back to normal but fingers crossed. We are going to put that superwoman power to the test. Let’s wait and see. Meanwhile, here’s 5 style tips every woman should know:
- Dress for the occasion: wear clothing that is appropriate for the occasion. Don’t wear jeans to a job interview, a funeral or a wedding. Wear a floor length evening gown to a black tie party. For business casual, wear dress pants, a casual dress, or a skirt with a nice blouse. And stay away from spaghetti straps or plunging necklines.
- Never dress to feel uncomfortable: Toss away any outfit that makes you feel uncomfortable: Too tight, too loose, not fitting properly, not flattering your figure, making you feel self-conscious. Also, it’s not because it is trendy that you have to wear it. Do not wear a piece of clothing that does not make you feel pretty and confident.
- Don’t wear white to weddings: Unless it is part of the dress code, do not wear white or any shade of white to a wedding. In our culture, only the bride is allow to wear white and to decide if her guests should wear white (Dress Code).
- Avoid showing off your bra: Choose a seamless bra for tight fitting clothes, invest in low back converter to avoid bra showing in backless clothes, don’t forget the stickies. Sew a strapless bra into the front of a dress and so many more hacks to ensure that your bra stays where it should.
- Show a little- Cover a little: If you want to show the girls, then cover the legs, if you want to show off the legs then cover the girls. Check out my posts here, here and here for more tips on how you can look sexy yet elegant.

You have the superwoman power so you will be just fine!
My mom teach me that to invest in styles that work for your shape and when in doubt overdress. You know my mom and I always keep those tips in mind.
I will add wear the appropriate panties (avoid showing panties line).
Moumouss, your blouse: love love love it 🙂

Your tips are right on point. I skipped the panties because I found that I talked too much about them here- lmao

This skirt is so fabulous, Moumous! What a beautiful outfit. And really great tips. I always tell people if you are going to be tugging at your clothes all day because they are uncomfortable, it totally takes away from how great the outfit may look. Ditch all the things that make you feel uncomfortable! Thanks for linking up.

Hey Thank you Shelbee. It is definitely important not to buy clothes based on what's trendy rather than what makes you feel confident in your skin.
