Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! As a Style Coach™, I believe that true beauty cannot be defined by your body shape nor measured by your dress size. It can’t be calculated by whether you are tall or short, nor can it be analysed by whether you suit Winter or Spring colours. It’s all about positive body-image, value yourself more and appreciate your uniqueness. Today I’m sharing 6 things that you can do to improve your body positivity image. If you turn these exercises into new habits, then your feelings of self-love and acceptance will begin to rise to a beautiful new level.
1- To practice self-care
When you discover something that nourishes your soul and brings joy, care enough about yourself to make room for it in your life.
2- Seek your inner beauty
Beauty is an expression of the inner and outer simplicity, kindness, and uniqueness of a person. Make sure you seek your beauty beyond the image the mirror shows you.
3- Embrace your flaws
There is nothing more rare, nor more beautiful, than a woman being unapologetically herself; comfortable in her perfect imperfection. That is the true essence of beauty.
4- Speak with kindness
If you’ve been criticising yourself for years, and it hasn’t worked for you, then why not try approving of yourself and see what magic might happen?
5- No more comparison
Don’t compare your life or your body to those of others. The reason why we struggle with insecurity is because we compare our behind the scenes with everyone else’s highlight reel.
6- Put the weapon down
Remember that your body is not a battleground. Your value is not measured in pounds. Put down the weapons… it’s time to make peace with your own body.
