6 tips to dress sexy at any age

Happy Thursday! I hope you are doing well. I was motivated to schedule all my posts on time but I am still struggling to get inspiration. So here I am releasing Tuesday’s post on Thursday. Anyway, let’s get right into it. I blogged about that topic before but I thought it would be a good idea to share a simpler version of the original post: How to dress sexy (not trashy) at any age.  Before we get started, remember that the quality of the clothing pieces are key. Also, take the time to identify your attributes and then make the most of them: if you are an 8 or a A use a belt to accentuate your waist, if you have long and nice legs, wear a mini skirt or some shorts but remember the rule of 1 etc. In the meantime, here’s 6 tips to dress sexy at any age:  

1- WEAR A SHEER TOP

Wearing a sheer top will not only make you look tastefully sexy, but sheer tops are still having a huge moment in 2021!  

2- WEAR CLOTHES THAT ARE FORM FITTING

I can’t emphasize this enough, but wearing clothes that are either too big or too small will just make you look bigger than you really are. Find out what your best feature is and showcase that in the clothes that you wear. If you have a small waist then wear high-rise denim, a belt or dresses that accentuate your waistline.  If you love your legs then wear more mini dresses or skirts but always keep the rules of 1 in mind. Also, utilizing a good tailor is a great way to ensure your clothes fit you the way they should.

3- WEAR HEELS

It’s no secret that wearing heels will always elevate your look but it will no doubt make you look sexier to.

4- WEAR A V-NECK TOP

Wearing a v-neck top is not only tastefully sexy since you are showing a bit of skin up top, but it also makes you look taller and slimmer too which is always a plus. Remember to use the rule of 1 if you decide to go big on the cleavage and go for your perfect decollete depending on your breast size.

5- SHOW A POP OF LACE

Wearing lingerie as clothing is another hot trend so showing a bit of lace will not only make you look tastefully sexy but it’s very on-trend!  My favorite way to do this is by letting a lace bralette peep through a chic cardigan.

6- SHOW SOME SHOULDER

No matter what your size, shoulders are typically a sexy body part we can show and still look very tasteful while doing it.  There are tons of gorgeous tops and sweaters out there showing one shoulder or both shoulders that are super chic and perfect for date night.

So what do you do to look sexy and tasteful? I think that even if you are quarantining you can easily look sexy with some loungewear shorts and off-the shoulder sweater with an intentionally messy hairstyle, some nice, sweet or gourmand perfume, proper face care routine with some nicely hydrated lips.
