25 Perfumes’ recommandation to wear to work + 7 Tips

Every woman should have at least a signature scent. If you are not a collector like me (lol), It is recommend to have 3 fragrances: one for the office, one for everyday and one for date night. Perfumes can help Boosts confidence and enhances the mood. Finding a perfume to wear to work every day can be difficult, some workplaces have even banned wearing fragrances altogether as so many people are picking perfumes that are too strong. Bottom line, sticking to a scent that is subtle, professional and light is the best option for the office. So today I’m sharing a few tips along with a few recommendations of perfume to wear to work.

Wearing a fragrance can be a pleasant experience as long as you follow a few tips:

Consider others: Perfume is delightful when using with moderation. So less is more. Start with one spray and apply to skin after shower and after that you apply your skin moisturizer.
Consider the occasion: Best fragrances note for the office are Floral, fruity and fresh notes (green, water, citrus).
Where to apply : behind the ears, neck, shoulder, chest, inner elbow, below your midriff, wist, behind your knees, calves and ankles. Let us agree to leave the lower body part for date night:-).
Do not exceed 3 spray for an office environment specially if your fragrance is on the heavy side.
OR you can do the waste method: walking into a fragrance cloud but ensure that your fragrance is non-toxic. I would certainly not recommend to do that with Alien or Angel from Mugler.
Do not apply to hair unless it is specifically made for hair. Perfumes have alcohol which will dry and damage your hair.
Do not Rub—Just Spray : Rubbing the application into other parts of your your body will kill the perfume notes.

I personally enjoy wearing perfumes. If I had to pick just one fragrance to wear to work it would be Chance by Chanel. But I also enjoy the Acqua Di Gioia, Chloe EDP and Gucci Bamboo. However my “boss lady scents” would be Tom Ford Black Orchid, Ombre Leather and Narciso Poudree.
