My Signature Style Explained in Details

Let’s talk about signature style. What is a signature style? A signature style is to have a style that reflects your personality and the image you want to give off. With that said, today I am going to talk about my personal signature style and how I play it to make it more fun from time to time. So before we start, a little more about me:

Height: 5’1”
Weight: 113lbs (as of 2 days ago)
Body Shape: Triangle (pear shape*borderline lol)
Skin Undertone: warm
Season: Autumn (warm autumn to be more precise)
My Fashion Style: Romantic
Favorite colors: nude pink and purple. Cream.
Lifestyle: Comfortable
Work environment : Enterprising (Sales Director for a System Integrator company/IT) + Artistic (Personal stylist/Image coach)

So What is my signature style (signature look):

My signature style revolves around my work capsule wardrobe which generally includes a pair of flare leg pants, a button down shirt and a blazer. I usually switch the button-down shirt for some nice round neck blouse or a silk cami. For casual Fridays, I would go with a classic button down shirt shirt (oxford) and a pair of pants. I rarely wear pencil skirts.

Accessories:

I have a lot of accessories but you will mostly see me wearing a pair of 4” pointed toe nude heels (my nude is light brown), a matching handbag and belt as seen in those pictures.

Lately, I have been incorporating jeans more in my everyday and simply switch the pants with a flare legs jeans. However, for this photoshoot I went with my only and favorite pair of dark skinnies. Since I lost the weight, I wear them every now and then.

Besides my work capsule, I incorporated my favorites colors also my color palette in my wardrobe. With that said, you will understand my choice when it comes to accessories as they go all together. Other than the light brown, I also wear olive (which is also a neutral), neutral pink, and light grey for shoes, handbags and belts. Of course, I also have black (I barely wear) and red.

More accessories:

Scarf.
Dainty jewelries, pearls and delicate sautoirs. Not shown here but I am also wearing a delicate bracelet around my right wrist. Other times, I would go for a 3 extra delicate bangles set I have in my collection.
Sunglasses (one pair from my collection of 5. This one is currently on rotation).
Watch (case diameter -oversize- 42MM. The leather strap for business is my personal preference).
Statement pieces: can be pretty much anything. It can be either my MAC Ruby Woo lipstick or a statement piece of jewelry, a scarf, a handbag or a top, a pair of shoes or handbags….

Hair, Nails, Makeup.-

I usually let my hair down (or so I want you to think because it is always pin up on my head when there is nobody around – protective style) or a classy bun.
Nails: I like my nails to be well polished – not too long not too short. I use gel or acrylic powder to avoid them from breaking off. My favorites nail polish colors are the neutral colors: cream or neutral pink as I can easily get away with 2 weeks without a manicure and not getting them noticed. I also find nails that are well manicured with light and neutral nail polish colors look so classy and effortless.
Makeup: light and dewey (above is an example but I usually go simpler).

So how do I integrate my personal style in all this?

So as a romantic (girly), I use a lot of soft/light colors – As you may noticed I love soft pink, lavender, cream. I love florals, lace, silk, ruffles, bows, pleats. I also love fit and flare (flowing silhouettes in general) dresses and skirts (that’s why I don’t wear pencil skirt a lot).

In my color palette, I gravitate towards : Olive, orange, burgundy, mustard yellow all shade of khaki and light brown. I try to wear emerald green a little given that my birthstone is emerald and although I don’t really like that color, it flatters my skin tone very well.

So if you don’t see me rocking my signature style, you will probably see me wearing something aligned to my personal fashion style (mostly some puffy skirt and a nice girly blouse :-). So there you have it.
