Hi everyone,
Happy weekend! I hope you are staying safe and follow the instructions during this difficult time. I have been debating whether or not I should blog about the current situation given that I want to keep my blog a stress free environment where we just exchange on beauty, style, family and love. After a week of thinking, I came to the decision that it would be a good idea to share some tips on how to cope with anxiety during such difficult time. So here’s to 5 things that you can do that can actually help:
- Stick with the facts and don’t read too much news (not to mention stay away of Fake News);
- Stay active: Exercising will keep your mind occupied and will also help with the extra calories you are adding to your regimen during this stressful period;
- Follow healthcare instructions: if in doubt, speak to a doctor or a health practitioner;
- Boost your immune system by eating healthy, taking your vitamins and having plenty of sleep;
- Keep yourself occupied: Working on a project, facetiming or Video chat with family and friends to keep in touch, family game, meditation… It is also a great time to bond with your children.
And remember to wake up and dress up everyday. That will help you go by your day and do something fun or productive.
Remember:
- News to follow: CDC, WHO Int. and news from our Ministry of Health to keep up with our own situation.
- Some Meditation App: HeadSpace, Calm . You can also do yoga, read the bible, find meditation videos on YouTube. or find what it is that works for you best.
