Hi everyone,
Whichever
way you spread holiday cheer, we figure a good goal would be to master
these must-know, expert-recommended etiquette standards before you turn 30 (or
ASAP) to celebrate free of faux pas. Today I will be sharing the top 5 rules to follow.
- Respect All RSVP
Deadlines and Host Requests. This is one my
husband and I always disagree mostly when I am receiving guests at home. I
seldom take offense when someone don’t respect my RSVP deadlines among other
things. Call me uptight but I know it makes a world of difference when you
follow etiquette rules. If someone invites you to their home, be courteous. It
is the least that you can do.
- Never Show-Up
Empty-Handed. A bottle of wine,
some flowers or scented candles, a gift baskets or some homemade sweets…
whichever you like the most but please don’t show up empty handed.
- Don’t Skip the
Office Holiday Party. No matter what the
environment at work is. Please show up to that Holiday Party and be nice to
everyone. You don’t have to stay until the end. But do show-up.
- Stay off your cell phone, and don’t tell
inappropriate jokes. Do I need to say more? I don’t think so 🙂
- Always Send a Thank You Note. Thank you notes are always in order. Whether you
received a gift or enjoyed the host’s great hospitality at a dinner party, it’s
important to send a thank you note as soon as possible afterward.

And don’t forget to Show Some Love During the Holidays. The most important thing to remember about the holidays is the goodwill and generous spirit they’re founded on.
Thanks for stopping by.
