Valentine’s Day: D-Day -6

Happy Tuesday! Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate romance and love. It is also an opportunity to celebrate Friendship. We share gifts and we take the time to tell one another how much we love, appreciate and are happy to have them in our life. However, we should express gratitude to our loved ones everyday (or as much as possible) just like we should celebrate life on a daily basis. Of course, we should not miss the opportunity to do a little extra such as put on a nice dress, going out on a date or just having drinks with the girls, put on a fancy, sexy fragrance, eat chocolates, give a rose to that special someone…

It’s no secret that your Valentine’s Day plans will likely look a bit different this year, what with the social distancing and restaurant closures. For this year, Cupid’s holiday is reason enough to get all dolled up — even if the itinerary just consists of an intimate dinner at home. For this year, I will go back to the basics, celebrating love and friendship around good wine, freshly cut roses and plenty of chocolates…My first outfit pick for the occasion is that gorgeous yellow dress paired with some statement earrings and Narciso Rodriguez Narciso rouge, heart of musc reinvented in red around an accord of irises and roses, cedar and vetiver to create a warm fragrance.
