About Me

Hello, my name is Iris Duhamel Augustin, but you can call me “Moumous”. I am a seasoned professional in the fields of marketing, sales, and customer service with OVER 12 years of experience in Telecom/Technology. I contributed to the realization of several large projects in Haiti that have revolutionized this sector including the launch of dedicated broadband internet, and the first e-recharge platform in Haiti. I received the COMCEL (Country Leading Telecom Company at the time) Leadership Award in 2010 in recognition of my efforts and teamwork for my post-disaster initiatives after the 2010 earthquake.

Passionate about fashion, I launched my blog “LaMoumous” in 2014 with the aim of inspiring women to embrace their uniqueness and to share tips and tricks on how to showcase their best attributes while remaining classy and elegant. In 2019, convinced that good self-esteem is a key element in the success of our life projects, I launched my Personal Styling Services and later became certified as a Style Coach™ from the Style Coaching Institute in London. I am also an accredited member of the International Association of Styles Coaches (IASC).

12 FACTS ABOUT ME:

1. I’ve been married to the man of my dream for over 10 years now (12 years’ relationships total);
2. I am over protective of my loved ones;
3. We have 3 beautiful children:  A girl of 7 and fraternal twins (a boy and a girl) of 3;
4. I lost over 60lbs 3 years ago and I am always existed to coach my client in their journey of reaching their ideal weight;
5. I have been on a healthy hair journey for over 7 years now and went from neck length to waist length. I also passionate about helping others in their own journey and offer on-demand hair care consultation;
6. I love cooking but I am more of a baker. In my free time, you will find me in the kitchen baking some fancy dessert for my family or catering for family members and close friends;
7. I am also a wannabe “event planner”. I mostly enjoyed throwing parties for my kids and my friend’s;
8. I was a self-proclaimed “shopaholic” until I decided that I had to focus on my goals in life;
9. I’ve always loved helping my friends and family (even strangers met at the stores) shopping for clothes and accessories;
10. I started blogging in 2019;
11. I am a proud member of the Adidas Blogger Community USA;
12. I’ve been helping men and women to build confidence and express their unique personality since 2019.
