Hi everyone,
I hope all is well. It’s been a while—life happened. But I’m planning a photoshoot, so I’ll be back soon. In the meantime, I thought I’d share Aby’s fun birthday playdate with you.

I’m a sucker for planning all kinds of events, especially kids birthdays. But they get trickier as kids grow older, and Aby’s 11th was no exception. After a decade of themed parties—from Disney princesses to ballet extravaganzas, tea dress-ups to swim & paint—I gave her the reins to pick this year’s celebration. But with so many past themes, finding something fresh was a challenge.

Then, inspiration struck! Aby fell in love with a tennis court cake, and that was it—I declared we were doing a playdate. And, of course, I couldn’t resist adding my creative twist to make it special.
A Fun-Filled Day of Activities

The playdate kicked off early with a photoshoot—because every birthday needs memories captured in style. Next, we got crafty with a candle-making workshop, letting the kids explore their creativity while making unique souvenirs to take home. Finally, we hit the court for a tennis training session with a coach, giving Aby and her friends an active and engaging experience.

The kids had an amazing time, and that’s always the goal. Despite the challenges and instability we face, we made the best of what was available.

A Special Thank You
A heartfelt shoutout to my girl Foy @foyinthekitchen, who went the extra mile to ensure we had balloons and printings—those little details that bring everything together!

Getting Into the Theme
Of course, I couldn’t let the kids have all the fun. I embraced the tennis theme too, dressing up in tennis sportswear (keeping it cute, of course!). Did I play? Nope! But I looked the part.

Sharing photos just for fun—because these moments deserve to be remembered. Here’s to another year of making birthdays magical in our own way! 🎾🎂🎉
Thanks for stopping by.
