Hi everyone,
I hope you are doing fine. Are you ready for Spring? I am getting ready for my Spring photoshoot and I can’t wait to show you what I have in store for you. It’s been a while since I put some thought and effort into my photoshoots because I was so busy between work and new projects that needed more attention (still but hey! we need balance, right?). I have been slowly but surely planning Spring to make up for Christmas, Wedding Anniversary, and even Valentine’s Day. In the meantime, let’s talk about my top 5 Spring Fashion Trends for 2022. They are many trends out there therefore it’s important to curate your shopping list based on your personal style, body shape, colors, and lifestyle so you don’t get overwhelmed with everything that high street fashion has to offer especially if you are coming out of the sweatpant mode.
1- Everything Suiting
In electric, bold and vibrant colors. Overly oversized blazers and pants, short suits, skirt (mini, micro, maxi- the choice is yours) suits, blazer dresses – anything blazer. This is by far my favorite trend for Spring. I love a good blazer. Before adding any bold color suits to your wardrobe make sure that you already have at least one classy yet modern tailored suit. You will thank me later.
2- Colors
- Electric colors electrified the runways and I can’t wait to do the same here (lol): from lime green, saturated yellow, classic kelly green, sunset orange, primary blue, hot pink, scarlet. I am here for them all. I am also glad to see that brown (coca mocha, salted caramel) is still in along with some pastel colors: Soft Lilac, Canary Yellow, sky blue … And don’t forget that Pantone provided us with some great selections when it comes to neutral. So everything you need to balance out your outfits if wearing bold colors from head to toe is a little too much for you.
3- Everything white
White is one of the few colors that never go out of fashion. It is easy to match with most outfits but for this season, it’s everything white. It’s time to splurge and get your white / ecru or cream suit if you don’t have one yet. It never goes out of style.
4- Dark denim
When it comes to denim, you have a variety of choices: blouses, jackets, pants, skirts… I am so pleased with that one because I keep telling my clients that dark denim is more elegant and sophisticated so black, indigo, and dark wash are recommended. High-quality white denim is also a great choice. But for this Spring the focus is on dark denim with very stiff and sturdy fabrics, no whitewash, light blue, etc…
5- All things Y2K
Fashion always comes back. Remember how we used to dress late 90’s early 2000s? Low rise jeans (another reason to start fasting if you want to pull this up 🙂 ), halter necklines, mini skirts, and playful mix-and-match jewelry. They’re making a return. If like me, you always keep your favorite pieces in your closet, it’s time to do some decluttering.
Zara, Express, Mango, H&M, and other high street fashion stores already released their Spring Collection and they are a perfect interpretation of what we’ve seen on the runways. So, what are the trends that you are currently coveting, and have you integrated any new pieces into your wardrobe yet? Comment below and let me know. I just can’t wait to read from you.
Thanks for stopping by,

I love your yellow dress! I’m a huge fan of bright colours. I won’t be going back to low rise jeans though – I still have them from 20 years ago but I prefer high-waisted jeans these days. Thanks for linking up!

What a beautiful yellow dress. And I love the turquoise necklace with it.
