Hi everyone,
Being fashionable isn’t something that comes naturally to everyone, and it’s not something you can generally become overnight – it takes time to learn what’s what and what’s going to work, and you need to think about your own personal style anyway. Plus, throwing out your entire wardrobe and changing it for ‘fashionable’ items is going to be a very expensive thing to do.
If you do want to become more fashionable, take your time over it. Read fashion blogs and magazines, follow influencers, and work out what you personally like and don’t like and what’s going to make you comfortable. However, while you’re doing all of this, there are some easy little things you can do that will help you make changes ahead of the new you. Read on to find out what they are.
Get Designer Glasses
If you wear glasses, you might not think much of them – they’re just a necessary thing you need to be able to see properly. However, the truth is that they’re actually an ideal starting point if you want to make just one small change to become a little more fashionable.
The next time you need a new prescription (or in between times if you want to make a change right away!), make sure you buy designer glasses frames. Of course, they also need to be frames that you love, and that suit you, but that shouldn’t be a problem – just try a few different options and ask for advice from your friends and family. You need to want to wear the glasses, so that’s a big part of your choice, but you can also use them to be a lot more fashionable right away.
Coordinate Your Colors
How do you choose your clothes right now? Do you just grab whatever’s on the top of the pile or whatever you like wearing most and not really think about how different elements go together? If so, this could be a big reason why you’re not the most fashionable person – it’s not the clothes themselves (necessarily); it’s the colors you’ve chosen to put together.
Wearing color-coordinated clothing will take your fashion status to the next level. It shows you’ve really thought about what you’re wearing and taken the time to get it right, and fashion relies a lot on that process. On top of that, even your older clothes will get a new lease of life when they’re properly paired.
Wear A Hat
The thing about fashion is that although we’re told what’s fashionable right now, none of that matters if you’re not being true to your personal style. That’s where a hat can come in. Most people are going to be more than happy to wear a hat, and the best part is that there are hats in every shape, size, color, texture, material, etc that you can think of. In other words, there’s going to be a hat that you fall in love with (perhaps more than one hat), and that helps you feel more fashionable.
If you don’t know where to start with fashion, a hat could be the right option – you can spend as much time as you want searching for the perfect hat, and once you’ve found it, everything else can more easily fall into place.
Thanks for stopping by,
Xo,
