Hi everyone,
It’s been quite challenging to keep up with blogging lately. The lack of inspiration has been a struggle, mostly because I’ve been in survival mode since November 2023. I won’t sugarcoat it; lately, it’s been even tougher. If you’ve been following the news, you’re likely aware of the current socio-economic-political situation in Haiti.
Some days are better than others, and today is a good day. As I count my blessings and reflect on my daily journaling practice, I feel incredibly blessed to be alive. I’m grateful for the support and love of my family – my clients and friends during these trying times. It’s their unwavering presence that keeps me going, even when things seem bleak.
I want to take a moment to give myself credit. It takes courage to keep pushing forward when faced with adversity, and I’m proud of myself for doing just that. I remind myself of the strength within me, a strength that has carried me through the darkest of days.
In times of uncertainty, it’s important to hold onto the small victories and moments of gratitude. So today, I celebrate the simple joys: a warm cup of tea in the morning, a phone call from a friend, and a quiet moment of reflection.
As I navigate through these challenging times, I am reminded of the power of resilience. We are stronger than we think, and even amid chaos, there is beauty and hope. So here’s to embracing each day with courage, gratitude, and the knowledge that brighter days are ahead.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. Your support means the world to me.
With love and gratitude,
Xo,
