Hi everyone,
Summer is here and weekend is right around the corner and I am thinking of what I would wear to fully embrace the high heat season. I found myself enjoying going thru my closet, contemplating those cute summer items I own that are (still) on trend.
That being said, while most women’s summer must-have are those cute short, skort and short length skirt, I mostly gravitate towards long, breezy and flowy summer dresses, skirts and crop top. I think those outfit were made for me and provide me with that extra boost of confidence that I need before I hit the road to run my errands or attend those weekend casual dates. I mean don’t get me wrong, living on an island, I do enjoy a nice pair of shorts that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion but to me, there is definitely something special about those long flowy and floral items. I find them casual casual yet elegant and you can effortlessly go from one occasion to another with that same outfit during the day which is a good thing for me given how far away I live outside of the city.
So, I got that dress a couple years ago, I would not personally go for that type of dress but it was sent over to me for purchase by one of the stores where I usually shop so I was like: hmm, why not? And here we are, 2 years later and in love with the dress.
I wanted to follow the current trend just a little bit by adding this cute nude straw bag and belt, nude sandals and delicate gold jewelry.
What are the summer trends you would like to try for this summer. I am personally opened to anything except biker shorts and neon.
