Summer Edition : Dressing Room Try-On Session @ Michele Boutique

Today we have something new: A summer try-on haul at Michele Boutique. Anyone says summer? Well, we all know what that means: bikinis (swimwear), shorts, mini skirts, sleeveless/backless, embroidered /lace tops and dresses, and of course: maxi floral and flowy skirts and dresses. However, every year, the trend evolves into something different or not quite different as you notice that some pieces are more trendy than others. This year, summer trends is mostly inspired by the 90’s. Here’s the top 15ish trend for summer 2019:

  1. Yellow
  2. Neon
  3. Tie-dye
  4. Animal print (mostly snakeskin)
  5. Color blocking
  6. Crochet
  7. Biker shorts (mostly worn with oversize blazer with a belt)
  8. Puffy sleeves
  9. Low key Utility 
  10. Sheer and gauzy fabrics
  11. Fringing (I personally prefer them on accessories such as straw bags)
  12. Squared toe shoes
  13. Shell accessories (mostly jewelry pieces – but can also be found in other items such as handbag, hats…)
  14. Straw Accessories (mostly circle straw bags, straw hats…)
  15. Net bags (mostly circle straw bag)
  16. Shield sunglasses
  17. Bucket hat (straw bucket hat is very trendy this summer)

 

So let’s get right into it. Before we start, I am in between a size 0 (Ann Taylor, Loft, Express) & 2 (Zara, H&M). Here’s all the summer trendy outfits I was able to put together while visiting Michele Boutique. They definitely have a lot of nice stuff at an affordable price for almost all occasion: work, casual, evening gown, summer and accessories. They also carry quite a few plus size selection. The owner, Michele, is nice and very welcoming and so are the sales representatives.
