The Dress that stirs good memories

Happy Saturday everyone:

This is actually the third time (out of 5) that I dedicated a whole post to just one dress when the project itself is about trying on trend outfits for summer. I would say that this one may definitely fit the summer category but for a special occasion. 

So during my visits at Barbie store I came across that dress and I couldn’t help but trying it on. As soon as I put it on (perfect fit), I got filled with emotion (good ones) and as my girlfriend, Farah, known here as VonVon, entered the dressing room, she looked at me in the mirror and I can see that she liked what she saw and that she also noticed all the emotions I was battling with not to tear up right in the middle of a photo shoot session. She goes like: “Girl, we need some vow renewals, when is your wedding anniversary again?” Unfortunately, I skipped the 5th year anniversary and will be celebrating in about a year in a half my 10th wedding anniversary…

With that said, I agreed with her. I can see myself wearing this as my second dress at my wedding anniversary party. While I do think it is a little too revealing, the elegance of the lace does not make it look trashy. Thoughts?

Needless to say when I got home, I had to show the pictures to hubby. As he was looking, I was watching out for his emotions. Satisfied with what I saw, I stated: “I think I would wear something like that for our wedding anniversary” and he was like: “yes, I love that dress on you” 😍😍😍

    • You should definitely celebrate your 10th anniversary. I was hesitant for my 5th anniversary and ended up doing nothing but now I wish I did. I would have had great pictures and memories of the event 🙂
