I hope you guys are having a good week so far. A while ago, I got two evening gowns from Ever Pretty Garment Inc. This online store has a large variety of affordable dresses for weddings and other occasions that require formal evening attire. Growing up, every single girl has once thought about wearing a very pretty dress like the ones we read about in fairytales, to go to the ball meeting our Prince Charming. Although I didn’t meet my “Charming Prince” wearing a fancy dress, I never miss an occasion to wear a gown. And since a ball isn’t the only occasion that would require these types of dresses, here are 5 occasions to wear an evening dress.
- Weddings: After 6 wedding events usually call for a floor-sweeping dress. Top key things to take into account while selecting your wedding guest attire: the venue, the theme of the wedding, the dress code, and colors (always avoid wearing any colors featured on the cards you might end up wearing the wedding colors which is a fashion faux pas when not requested by the bride.
- Gala: A gala generally has a formal dress code. That means evening gowns or cocktail dresses. Full-length ball gowns, cocktail dresses, and elegant little black dresses are appropriate black-tie apparel for women. While black is the preferred color for dresses, you can wear any color. If you prefer pants, silk palazzo style pants with an accompanying silk or chiffon top are appropriate.
- Black tie events: this dress code typically calls for a floor-length dress or gown. While cocktail dresses can be an appropriate option for black ties, long dresses tend to be a more elevated choice.
- White tie events: White tie attire is the most formal dress code and is typically interpreted as floor-length gowns for women.
- Prom night: It’s Graduation Season. So why not? Even if you will just have a Zoom session why not dress to impress especially if you don’t have to break the bank.
- Red carpet: Usually call for a Black tie/ white tie, gala, or cocktail attire.
