Transitioning to Fall – Dressing Room Try-On Session @Glamur Boutique

Hi everyone,

Today, we have another try-on session and for this one, we were pleased to collaborate with Glamur Boutique. I was so looking forward to visit them because it was a long time coming; and knowing that they already received some of their fall collection was definitely worth the wait. Although, I live in the Caribbean and that it is still summer until late September, we can certainly rock most of those vibrant fall items.

Thank God for Pre-Fall. Summer is not yet over but we can’t help and indulge heads down into the vibrant color patterns of fall. After watching this year Fall fashion trends on the runway, I had to rush and check out some of the shopping websites such as Zara, ASOS, H&M and see what are their picks for this year fall. Here’s the top 10-ish most popular fashion trends for this coming fall:

bold and dark floral prints,
jewel tone fabrics,
smart & belted suits,
neon,
English tweed ,
Asymmetrical,
The classic 70’s girl: bow blouse, pleated skirt and jacket,
Animal prints,
Utility outfit,
metallic fabrics,
Lace .

The top 3 trend that I am looking forward to rock for this coming fall are 1,7, and 3. But if we already met, you know that I wear lace all year around so of course I am here for it.

Back to Glamur Boutique, I really enjoyed this session and found myself loving everything that I tried on but this time around, I have a clear winner: the floral maxi skirt with the oversize sweater. But I also love those baby pink jumpsuit, the maxi scarf dress, the safari look with that utility biker shorts paired with an oversize shirt and scarf or with the fun blazer for a more classic look. And I can see myself wearing those leather skinnies every day – so comfy!

The owner over at Glamur was very nice and took the time to help us whenever possible to find the right piece to complete an outfit. She also knows what she wants. On another note, I was able to witness how caring and very mindful she was in helping one of her clients get the best shopping experience possible and how nicely but firmly she ensure that the staff behave in order to keep her customers happy.
