Happy Thursday! Sorry I am late. I am still struggling to keep up with my schedule. Anyway, I hope that you are doing well. Today’s featured outfit definitely had a decisive impact on the topic of the day: Let’s talk about how we can be perceived based on the colors we are wearing. To make it fun, I will describe some of the colors I enjoy wearing and you can leave me a comment with one of your colors and I will reply with what that color says (or supposes to say) about you. Cheers to some fun interaction!
So my favorite colors are light pink and purple but in clothing I mostly gravitate towards white and all shades of brown (of-white, khaki, beige…)as well as orange, purple , green (love yellow more but lately I favor green more) and red. Lots of colors, right? Some of them are mostly used in a more neutral tone. I would say that my accent colors are orange, purple and red. I always pay attention to the colors I am wearing and the choice is usually made based on my agenda of the day. So let’s see what most of those colors say about me.
RED (a classic)
“Red is the color of passion and power. Any bright shades of red draw attention to the person wearing them. People tend to associate the vibrant color with energy, movement, and excitement. Red is also considered as a stimulant for men. I give my preference to this color when I want to persuade or impress somebody or just to make an unforgettable appearance or statement :-). It is said that those who often wear red are bright, easily excitable, slightly self-centered and also addiction-prone. By the way, every woman should have at least a cocktail dress and blazer in true red.
PURPLE
In the past, purple was often a representation of royalty and higher society. It meant sophistication, wealth and luxury. Cleopatra was known to be crazy about the color purple. During these times, only the rich could afford to wear such shades of purple. Today, the purple color when worn in clothing indicates creativity, insight, and love of art. People who wear purple are emotional and sensitive. They are dreamy, passionate and love mysticism. This is a color that I mostly wear for casual occasions.
WHITE
White is the symbol of freedom, purity, innocence, and simplicity. That’s why many people decide to buy something white when they are starting something new in their life or entering a new chapter. The color white attracts reliable people who love freedom and who look at life optimistically. These people are very neat and organized in everything they do, they like new beginnings and strive for perfection. I’ve always love wearing white because I feel powerful when wearing white. I tend to favor white over red.
PINK (favorite Color)
Tender shades of pink represent ultimate femininity. Soft pink is considered calm, warm and feminine and is one of the most powerful sedatives. According to psychologist people who love pink are romantic, optimistic and self-righteous (in a good sense). As a rule, they are people who appreciate kindness and comfort above everything else.
GREEN (why I adopted this color)
Green sustains a good mood within you and your surroundings. “The pleasantness of green comes from its kinship with nature, which causes a feeling of peace and contentment,” says Leatrice Eiseman, the executive director of the Pantone Color Institute and the author of the book, More Alive With Color’. Those who prefer green lead an active, public life, they always live in a good area and they are financially stable. They are also caring, kind and have a soft heart.

Hi Shelbee – Black suits you so well. Not only because you have a cool undertone but because people who choose black as their favorite color are often artistic and sensitive and you are very artistic and from what I know you are a very caring and sensitive soul and people who love white often means that they are organized and logical and don't have a great deal of clutter in their lives:-).

Hi Mireille, you like purple like me. I also like yellow too. Yellow means that you enjoy learning and sharing your knowledge with others. Finding happiness comes easy to you and others would compare you to sunshine. I think that color suits you. Xo
