Work wear can be a challenge for most of us. Working in the corporate field for over 15 years now, I have learned a few important things when it comes to work outfits. Now, depending of your job and your work environment, you still want to look your best no matter what you decide to wear. I personally love blazers and have been lucky enough to be able to wear one every day if I feel like it; but whether you wear jeans with just a button down shirt or simple trousers and blouses you still want to look your best. Most of us have a limited budget for fashion and yet always purchase clothes based on our emotion and later complain that we don’t have nothing to wear.
When it comes to your work wardrobe, I believe in wearing what makes me feel like a boss. It’s all about a confidence-boosting outfit that establishes authority and expresses your desire to be taken seriously. So, what do you wear when you actually are the boss? For me, my professional style should say that I am confident, yet approachable and knowledgeable. People should be curious about what I do for a living from what I wear.
Every professional capsule wardrobe should have a white fitted dress shirt, a solid blazer (navy or black), a patterned earth-toned blazer (khaki), a fitted sheath dress, high-waist dress pants, and heels in black and nude. A strong foundation of business wardrobe essentials makes getting dressed in the morning that much easier, allowing you to focus your energy on more important work decisions.
For today I will feature the navy blazer and on Thursday the khaki blazer; and of course if you like black you can still wear a black blazer with almost all of the outfits that will be featured today and on Thursday. While I am only featuring 10+ outfit with you today, I can make exactly 63 outfit with those pieces just by switching the tops around and play with the accessories: a nice belt or scarf will make a huge difference.

Note: Besides the blue camisole (worn here with the khaki skirt, all my selections of top can be worn without a blazer). Also, went out of my comfort zone to wear some fats and I like the results thoughts?
